Corrs Chambers Westgarth’s Energy & Resources practice has received top tier rankings in a special report on Queensland published by leading benchmarking publication, Doyle’s Guide.

The annual report, published last Friday, lists Queensland’s leading Energy & Resources firms and practitioners. In further recognition of Corrs’ excellence in the sector, partner Michael MacGinley has again been listed in the report as a “Leading Lawyer”.

Corrs Brisbane Energy & Resources team is ranked in the “First Tier”, among the listed leading firms.

Corrs is a key adviser to some of the largest domestic and international energy and resources companies with operations in Australia, representing some of the sector’s highest value transactions. Most recently, the Corrs Energy & Resources team has advised on the Queensland Curtis Liquefied Natural Gas Project and advised Macarthur Coal, the world's largest producer of seaborne LV PCI coal, on its A$4.9 billion takeover by Peabody Energy.
