Corrs Chambers Westgarth was the recipient of the Innovation in Legal IT Award for the second time in three years at The Lawtech Conference Awards held last night.

The award recognised the innovative technology solution at the firm’s new premises at 8 Chifley, Sydney.

Corrs became the first major Australian law firm to adopt a fully open plan office when the firm relocated to 8 Chifley. The firm’s strategic objectives for the move, were to embed a culture of collaboration and to create an inspiring workplace for its people that matched Corrs’ employer of choice status.

The Lawtech Awards is one of the most prominent legal IT events of the year. It was established to recognise and celebrate the leaders of the Legal IT industry. The awards have consistently grown in prominence amongst the legal IT community. The event enables IT professionals to engage with the ever changing technical, strategic and management issues required for Law Firm IT departments.
