The Perth based corporate practice at independent law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth has recently advised on one of Australia’s largest initial public offerings (IPO) this year.
Corrs advised cattle exporter Wellard Limited (Wellard) on its IPO and listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
Listing on the ASX on 10 December 2015, Wellard’s market capitalisation is A$556 million, based on the offer price of A$1.39 per share.
Wellard is an integrated agribusiness that connects primary producers of cattle, sheep and other livestock to customers globally through a vertically integrated supply chain. Wellard is an exporter and marketer of livestock and also operates a meat processing division.
The Corrs team advising Wellard was led by partner Robert Franklyn with Jeremy Horwood, Sandy Mak, James Morley, Nick Foster and Oliver Carrick.
