Highly respected litigation and commercial dispute resolution lawyer Simon Johnson has been appointed to Corrs Chambers Westgarth’s partnership in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.
Simon is the sixth new partner appointment for Corrs this year and joins the firm from Norton Rose Fulbright.
Specialising in the technology and financial services sectors, Simon has extensive experience across a broad range of commercial litigation work for major corporates and financial institutions.
Corrs partner and CEO John W.H. Denton AO warmly welcomed Simon to the firm: “Simon will be a key member of Corrs’ national Litigation & Dispute Resolution group and will add depth to the outstanding and highly respected team. Simon will be based in the Sydney office and commences on 1 March.
Simon has 20 years' experience in conducting commercial litigation and strategic dispute resolution for major corporates and financial institutions. He specialises in technology disputes and financial services litigation and also has extensive experience in running regulatory and investigations matters.
Simon is ranked as a leading lawyer for dispute resolution by all the major independent legal directories. In the most recent edition of Chambers and Partners, he is described as a "superb lawyer, very pragmatic and smart, who always seeks the best results for his clients".
