Highly respected litigation and commercial arbitration lawyer Bronwyn Lincoln joins Corrs Chambers Westgarth’s partnership in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.
Bronwyn is the seventh new partner appointment for Corrs this year and joins from Herbert Smith Freehills.
Based in Melbourne, Bronwyn will be a key member of Corrs’ national Litigation & Dispute Resolution group and will add depth to the outstanding and highly respected team.
Named in Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration 2016 as one of the world’s leading practitioners and identified in Chambers Asia Pacific 2016 as Band 1 in Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, Bronwyn has extensive experience in international commercial arbitration, commercial litigation and cross border dispute resolution.
Bronwyn has acted for many national and international clients across a number of jurisdictions, including Asia, Europe and the Middle East. She is a panel arbitrator for the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and holds the position of Chair of the Melbourne Commercial Arbitration and Mediation Centre. She has worked in a broad range of industry sectors including energy and resources, power, property, telecommunications and infrastructure and has experience in pharmaceuticals and licensing/distribution agreements. She has conducted large scale commercial litigation in the State Supreme Courts and Federal Court of Australia (including appellate proceedings).
Bronwyn has additional experience in international regulatory matters, including foreign investigative and criminal proceedings and in extradition. She regularly works with clients to develop strategies to manage risk in offshore contracting and investments, including effective dispute resolution processes, enforcement of contractual rights across multiple jurisdictions and advises on private international law issues.
Bronwyn’s dispute resolution skills will complement and build upon the expertise of the current Corrs team and support our commitment to maintaining a market leading Dispute Resolutions practice. She commenced with the firm on 2 May 2016.
