Asialink joins Corrs’ Sydney office

New South Wales Premier, the Hon Barry O’Farrell MP opened the NSW office of Asialink in Corrs’ Sydney offices on March 14.

Corrs Partner and CEO John WH Denton hosted a cocktail function for more than 90 guests, including the Consuls-General of Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Republic of Korea; and Asialink chairman Sid Myer, as well as Asialink board members and supporters.

In launching the new office, Premier O’Farrell said if Australia and NSW were to make the most of the Asia Pacific’s economic and cultural opportunities, it was time to become “really good at what we do, and then get better and better”.

Asialink is an organisation that  promotes of public understanding of Asia as well as Australia’s role in the region through information, training and networking. Asialink is an affiliate of The University of Melbourne and an initiative of the Myer Foundation.
