Corrs Chambers Westgarth has announced the recipients of the Corrs Scholarship for Individual Excellence and the John Slattery Scholarship for 2012.
Twenty-eight Corrs people have been awarded a Corrs Scholarship for Individual Excellence. The winners will attend prestigious institutions such as Stanford Graduate School of Business, INSEAD, Harvard Business School, National University of Singapore, Wharton, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School, Harvard Law School and Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth College, as part of the Corrs Scholarship Program.
The Corrs Scholarship for Individual Excellence, now in its eighth year, offers all of Corrs staff the opportunity to apply to enhance their technical and business skills by attending a course either in Australia or overseas.
The winner of this year’s highly exclusive John Slattery Scholarship is Jaclyn Riley-Smith, Senior Associate in Corporate Advisory. Jaclyn will be attending “Changing the Game: Negotiation and Competitive Decision Making” at Harvard Business School.
The John Slattery Scholarship rewards exceptional performance and collaboration, the cultural characteristics needed to achieve the firm’s assertive growth aspirations for 2015 and expected of Corrs’ future leaders.
The Corrs Scholarship Program is a world-class initiative. It is a large and broad-ranging program that has achieved much in its eight years and has seen almost 200 Corrs people awarded scholarships to study at 38 institutions in 11 countries.
