Corrs boosts partnership with leveraged finance leader

Corrs Chambers Westgarth has welcomed the appointment of renowned leveraged finance lawyer, Alex Regan, to partnership.

Alex comes direct to Corrs as a former partner with King & Wood Mallesons.

Widely regarded for his work with high profile commercial banks, investment banks and sponsors in the Asia-Pacific and internationally, Alex specialises in leveraged finance and projects in the energy, infrastructure and resource sectors. He provides world class advice across all aspects of project financing, leveraged financing, private equity and debt restructurings.

An expert in cross-border transactions, Alex has a strong track record facilitating international finance arrangements, with unique capabilities in growing markets including Islamic finance, where he has structured some of the first Islamic financings in the Australian market.

Alex works with prominent clients across the board including all major Australian banks, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Citibank, Barclays Capital, GE, Nomura, HSBC, UBS and Credit Suisse. 

He will support Corrs clients in both Sydney and Perth.
