Corrs makes a splash for MS Society

22 June 2012

Corrs Chambers Westgarth’s finest athletes will brave cold, fatigue and legions of Lady Gaga’s “Monsters” to swim a 24-hour relay at Sydney Olympic Park to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society this weekend.

The “Corrs a Splash” team is taking part in the Sydney 24 Hour Mega Swim to raise funds for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis.

MS is the most common disease of the central nervous system affecting over 21,000 Australians, with the average diagnosis of 30 years of age and affecting three times as many women as men.

The 24 Hour Mega Swim event raises funds for MS Australia's 'Go for Gold' Scholarship program. 'Go for Gold' scholarships are awarded to people living with Multiple Sclerosis covering a broad range of categories including education, travel, sport, music, the Arts and employment.

The Corrs team includes partners Robert Regan and Braddon Jolley, as well as lawyers Ali Souk, Kim Hamilton; Emma Higgs; Amelia Ho; Michael do Rozario; Daniel Hobbs; Kieran Donovan; Michael McCarthy; Michael McGuire; Denisse Caceres; Daria Orjekh; Llewellyn Spink; Barbara Keane; Michael Cooper and Vanessa McGlynn.

The Mega Swim is a great Corrs tradition, in which the firm has participated in for the last five years.
