Corrs Chambers Westgarth is participating in a world first observational documentary series, The Equilibrium Man Challenge, which intends to accelerate the normalisation of flexible work practices for everyone.
The Equilibrium Man Challenge (EMC) will follow a mix of men who want to achieve greater equilibrium in their lives, for different reasons, by changing how they work. Their experience is being followed by award-winning documentary director, Ruth Cullen, and will be released online as a series of micro-documentaries.
Michael Chaaya is Corrs’ Equilibrium Man and one of the “E-Men” currently taking the challenge to work flexibly. Michael, a Corrs Sydney Partner and financial services practice Chair, will have his journey documented over the next six months.
Corrs’ participation in the challenge demonstrates the firm’s ongoing commitment to mainstreaming flexibility.
The E-Man project is sponsored by two of Australia’s most prominent companies, Telstra and Mirvac, with the support of Corrs. The Australian Government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) and Diversity Council Australia are also partners on the project.
