Premium independent law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth has announced the promotion of three new Partners.
Corrs CEO and Partner John W.H. Denton congratulated the firm’s three new Partners and said he was delighted to announce their promotions.
These appointments strengthen Corrs’ strong position in the marketplace, ensuring it continues to meet and exceed the growing needs of clients.
Seven new partners have joined Corrs in the last six months, including these three internal promotions which are effective from 1 July 2012.
Louise joined Corrs in 2001. As a specialist in planning and environment law, Louise has assisted numerous private sector clients obtain planning approval for major residential, retail, industrial and commercial developments across New South Wales. Louise has also advised various public sector clients on the roll-out of major infrastructure and regularly advises on pollution, contamination, climate change and other environmental issues. She has acted and appeared in numerous Land and Environment Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court proceedings.
After undertaking her summer clerkship at Corrs in Sydney in 1999-2000, Rebecca commenced as a lawyer in the Sydney office in 2002 and relocated to Perth in 2009. Rebecca has expertise in a broad range of property, development and infrastructure areas, including property acquisitions and disposals, leasing, project delivery agreements, joint ventures and due diligences. Rebecca has advised a number of property industry players including developers, institutional investors, government, administrators, lessors and lessees.
Brad commenced as a graduate in the litigation team in 2003. Since that time, he has developed a broad practice, with a focus on both class action litigation and property dispute work. On the class action front, he has acted on a number of high profile claims. In the property space, Brad regularly represents a number of the firm’s property clients.
