An experienced front-end construction lawyer with over 13 years’ experience advising on energy and infrastructure projects in Australia and internationally, Edward’s experience spans a range of sectors including energy, waste, water, transport and social infrastructure.
Edward specialises at the front end of the project lifecycle, advising on project structuring, procurement strategy, contract drafting and negotiation, and project delivery issues. He has particular experience in renewable energy projects and regularly advises developers, investors and contractors on wind, solar and battery storage projects.
Edward has practised in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. He has been based in Australia since 2017 and is a member of the Society of Construction Law Australia.
Advised Tesla on Phase 3 of its virtual power plant project in South Australia.
Advised British Solar Renewables as EPC and O&M contractor on the 30 MW Katherine solar farm and the Batchelor and Manton Dam solar farms in the Northern Territory.
