A lawyer and registered patent and trade mark attorney with over 30 years’ experience, Grant is an established national and international expert in patent litigation.
He has practised across all facets of intellectual property with a particular focus on patent litigation, specifically in oppositions and re-examinations in the Patent Office and in appeals, revocation and infringement proceedings in the Federal Court and High Court.
Grant’s patent work covers technology in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, mining, computer-related inventions and mechanical devices. Aiding his experience in life sciences is Grant’s science qualification in chemistry.
Grant is a registered patent attorney in Australia and New Zealand.
Grant is a member of the Intellectual Property Section of the Australian Law Council.
