Jeremy has worked all around the world, including in London where he practiced in multi-jurisdictional M&A. He has deep experience in relation to foreign inbound investment in Australia and obtaining FIRB approvals.

  • Suncorp restructure Advised Suncorp on aspects of its implementation of a non-operating holding company structure by way of scheme of arrangement.
  • Acquisitions and restructuring in PNG Advising on the acquisition of a significant interest in and restructuring of an unlisted property trust in PNG.
  • Straits Resources demerger Advised Straits Resources on aspects of the demerger and $220 million ASX listing of its metals business and the simultaneous $550 million takeover of its coal assets entity by PTT.
  • Affinity Education capital raising Advised Affinity Education on its fully underwritten $75 million accelerated renounceable entitlement offer.
  • Coal of Africa Limited Advised Coal on its US$100 million share placement to a Chinese state owned enterprise.
  • Dart Energy Advising Dart Energy on its $211 million scrip takeover by IGas PLC by way of scheme of arrangement.
  • Port Botany and Port Kembla Advised a member of the NSW Ports consortium in successfully bidding for the 99-year lease of Port Botany and Port Kembla from the NSW State Government. The ports were leased for $5.07 billion with an annual lease payment of $5 million.
