  • World-leading carbon capture and storage project Advised ZeroGen on all aspects of its carbon capture and storage project, including the proposed development of an integrated gasification and combined cycle power plant with capture, transportation and storage of carbon dioxide in underground reservoirs.
  • Macarthur Coal’s $275 million acquisition Advised Macarthur Coal on its acquisition of Custom Mining and the Middlemount coal project, including conducting due diligence and negotiating the sale documentation.
  • $1.3 billion acquisition of the Australian Railroad Group Advised Queensland Rail on its acquisition, in conjunction with Babcock & Brown, of ARG’s rail business and the subsequent separation of the above and below rail businesses.
  • Phu Kham copper-gold mine in Laos Advising Pan Australian Resources on electricity supply, concentrate haulage and port services agreements for the mine development.
  • Largest infrastructure project in South Australia Advised the South Australian Government on the Adelaide Desalination Project, including procurement and contracting arrangements for the supply of accredited renewable energy.
