  • Victorian WorkCover Authority Advises WorkSafe Victoria in a range of disputes with employers over their workplace classification and the WorkCover premium payable as well as assisting with contractual, legislative and administrative law issues.
  • Alternative dispute resolution Key adviser to the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne and a number of religious Orders on a range of litigious and commercial issues, particularly in relation to abuse allegations.
  • Principal adviser to Channel Seven Melbourne Over the past 25 years Richard has provided advice and representation to Channel Seven in numerous defamation, contempt and commercial disputes. Regularly provides pre publication advice to Seven’s Melbourne based programs including the News and sports-related programs.
  • Greyhound Racing Victoria Advice to and representation of the Greyhound Racing Victoria Stewards in disciplinary proceedings and appeals, with a particular focus on breaches of the drug rules.
  • AED Oil commercial litigation and international arbitration Representation of AED in hard fought and long running Supreme Court litigation involving contractual disputes, breach of duty claims, interpretation of security documents and injunction applications. Also provided advice in an international arbitration.
