  • Hancock / CRED Advising on the A$386.5 million acquisition (by off market takeover offer) by AOB of S Kidman & Co. S Kidman and Co is one of Australia's largest beef producers and has pastoral leases covering 101,000 square kilometres in three states and the Northern Territory, representing 2.6 per cent of Australia's agricultural land.
  • Gold Road Advising on the sale of Gold Road’s 50% interest in the Gruyere Gold Development Project in the eastern goldfields of WA to Gold Fields Limited for over $350 million, which included the negotiation of a JV agreement, royalty and regional co-operation arrangements.
  • Acquisition of Clough Advising Murray & Roberts (JSE:MUR) on its cross border acquisition of the remaining interests in Clough (ASX:CLO - mining services and engineering business) by way of scheme of arrangement for approximately $460 million.
  • RTG/Sierra merger and listing Advising RTG Mining (TSX:RTG) on its cross border acquisition of Sierra Mining (ASX:SRM - gold development project in the Philippines) and subsequent compliance listing on the ASX.
  • Uranium Advising Toro Energy (ASX:TOE) on its acquisition of the Lake Maitland Uranium Project in Western Australia from Mega Uranium (TSX:MGA) and equity subscription by Oz Minerals (ASX:OZL).
  • FMG and Baosteel JV restructure Advising Fortescue Metals Group Limited in relation to the restructure and joint venture with Baosteel, one of china’s largest steel producers in relation to the FMG Ironbridge Limited (a Hong Kong company) which holds the magnetite interests of FMG.
  • Food and Agriculture Advising Commodities Group in relation to the acquisition of Australia’s largest prawn farming business, Seafarms, in Northern Queensland.
