Airlie has worked on some of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects of recent years. She has a wealth of experience across a range of sectors, including transport (roads, light rail, heavy rail) and social infrastructure.
Airlie's areas of expertise include Public Private Partnerships (PPPs), construction, procurement and supply chain, facilities management services, project finance and contract administration. Her current clients include major developers and corporations, government and blue chip financial institutions.
Airlie is a Director of Head Start Homes, an organisation that aims to increase access to social housing for people in need.
Advised the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads on the first light rail PPP in Australia, including expansion of the network.
Advised clients including Serco, Ferrovial, Acciona, BAM, Downer, RCR, Grocon and CPB on their tenders for various packages for NSW’s metro rail project, including the PPP, tunnels and station excavations, line wide works and integrated station developments.
Advised BaptistCare on its successful bid to develop social housing and provide related services on a long term basis, as part of the first stage of NSW’s new fund. Airlie was awarded the IPA National Infrastructure Award for Advisory Excellence 2018 for this project.
Advising the D&C JV of CPB Contractors, Ghella and BAM in relation to their bid for Brisbane’s new metro rail PPP including over-station development.
Advised INPEX Browse Limited on the A$34 billion Ichthys LNG gas project in Western Australia. INPEX Browse is owned by INPEX Corporation, an international oil and gas exploration and production company in Japan.
