A specialist in health and medical law, Alice has experience in insurance, workers’ compensation claims and civil litigation within both the State and Federal jurisdictions.
Alice acts for medical and other healthcare practitioners, healthcare facilities and their insurers in pre-litigation and litigated medical negligence claims across a wide variety of clinical service areas.
She regularly advises in relation to catastrophic injuries and claims for nervous shock, loss of consortium and dependency, and has experience in investigations by the Office of the Health Ombudsman, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Coroner's Court of Queensland.
Alice is a member of the Queensland Law Society’s Health and Disability Law Committee, and regularly volunteers her time to provide pro-bono assistance to clients of LawRight though the Self-Representation Service and Refugee Civil Law Service.
