Ben is an experienced, technology-driven litigator who specialises in managing complex commercial claims, class actions and regulatory matters.
He has a broad range of experience across areas including banking and finance, insolvency, franchising, mining and retail leasing, and technology. Ben has particular expertise in large, high-profile and complex pieces of litigation, and has an extensive knowledge of electronic discovery and other forms of legal technology.
Ben spent several years practicing in London, where he worked on matters including a £400 million banking and finance claim against UBS (litigated and investigated in the UK, USA and Germany), a £4 billion claim on behalf of a class action shareholder group against the Royal Bank of Scotland and a regulatory dealing between HSBC and the US Justice Department.
Ben is an active participant in Corrs’ Pro Bono and Community program, having assisted a self-represented litigant before the High Court of Australia. He is also a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
