Craig is a highly experienced tax practitioner specialising in revenue authority reviews and audits, tax dispute resolution and litigation where necessary. He offers strategic and proactive advice to Boards and senior executives of both listed and unlisted corporate groups, covering a full spectrum of tax disputes.
Craig has handled numerous confidential and contentious matters, including those involving Part IVA issues, diverted profits tax, MAAL considerations, intangibles and embedded royalties, interest and royalty withholding tax disputes, and transfer pricing.
In addition, Craig has a strong track record in broader tax policy discussions. He has represented industry bodies and participated in government consultations, including recent contributions to Infrastructure Partnerships Australia and submissions to Treasury regarding proposed changes to Australia’s foreign resident CGT regime. Craig has also written several articles for professional technical publications, such as The Tax Institute’s Taxation in Australia Journal.
