He is experienced in property acquisitions and structuring, joint ventures and developments, due diligence, pre-sale reports and bankability analysis for large, complex residential, commercial and industrial property developments and leverage, corporate finance and distressed debt portfolios.
Henry’s clients include the major Australian banks, foreign investors such as Blackstone, and local institutional and private developers and investors.
Advising on the restructuring development financing of the Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel and Apartments Project, made available to subsidiaries of the Raptis Group and completed by Brookfield Multiplex.
Advising the bank group (including Westpac Banking Corporation as lender, agent and security trustee) in the refinancing of Mirvac Wholesale Hotel Trust’s corporate facilities, involving the pre-approval of the change of control to Accor and Ascendas and taking new security over the Hotel portfolio.
Advising JP Morgan and National Australia Bank Limited as MLABs, underwriters and the lenders in the acquisition financing of Valad Property Group by Blackstone.
Acting for National Australia Bank Limited and Tokyo Star Bank in the A$128 million development financing of Yuhu Property Group’s ‘The Miller’ North Sydney.
Acting for National Australia Bank Limited in respect of development and term facilities to a Challenger and Coombes Property Group joint venture for the Gateway Shopping Centre in Darwin, Northern Territory.
