Widely regarded as an expert indirect tax lawyer, Jennee specialises in stamp duty and GST. 

She advises a wide range of clients across all Australian jurisdictions, with an emphasis on property and infrastructure projects, M&A, energy and natural resources projects and corporate restructures. 

Jennee’s broad practice and excellent technical ability put her in a unique position to assist clients with complex tax issues, including due diligences, structuring and implementing transactions, contract drafting and liaising with revenue authorities.

Jennee is a Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of the Taxation Committee of the Property Council of Australia (Victoria division). She is also a board member of Positive Media Incorporated.

Advised in relation to the sale of BP’s 225 fuel outlets across Australia to Charter Hall.

ISPT Property

Advised on ISPT’s acquisition of a joint venture interest in the office and retail components of the $1.25 billion mixed-used Collins Arch precinct.


Advised on the $3.85 billion sale of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited’s life and wealth businesses, in a complex transaction involving the separation and sale of one business to Zurich, and the other to IOOF Holdings.


Advised on the acquisition of IRIS Superannuation Fund by way of a successor fund transfer, resulting in a merged fund worth more than $40 billion.

Quintis group

Advised in relation to the receivership of Quintis group, a sandalwood plantation and owner, including in relation to the recapitalisation of the business hrough a creditors' scheme of arrangement.

Goldman Sachs Asia

Advised on the establishment of a student accommodation platform by Goldman Sachs Asia Special Situations Group in joint venture with Blue Sky Private Real Estate.


Advised on Plenary’s bid for various public-private partnership projects, including the Casey Hospital expansion project and the Queensland schools package.
