With banking and finance experience across a range of transactions, Julie’s expertise includes corporate finance, debt capital markets and securitisation transactions.
Her work has included advising borrowers and lenders on bilateral and syndicated facilities and security arrangements – including for development financing, commercial investments and asset financing. She has also advised corporate trustees in relation to securitisation transactions.
Julie has broad capabilities in financial services regulation and in relation to ESG aspects of financing transactions.
She is admitted in Queensland and New Zealand and has previously worked as a lawyer in London acting on international deals. Julie provides commercially focussed and pragmatic advice.
Advised Real Asset Management on a A$120 million facility with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia following the ASX listing of ‘RAM Essential Services Property Fund’, its REIT with retail and medical property coverage.
Acted for BaptistCare NSW & ACT in a A$144 million refinancing of its existing Commonwealth Bank of Australia facility, with the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation under its Affordable Housing Bond Aggregator funding model.
Advised Austin Engineering on its A$40 million global facility with HSBC to refinance existing Australian and Chilean debt and to provide funding for working capital, internal projects and other strategic initiatives.
Advised Tritium Pty Ltd in relation to its USD$90 million syndicated loan to refinance its existing debt and provide further working capital following its merger with Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corporation II and listing on the NASDAQ stock exchange.
Acted for BNY Mellon entities as trustee and security trustee in respect of multiple ABS, RMBS and CMBS securitisation transactions.
