Tracey has more than 20 years’ experience in the energy sector specialising in major LNG, natural gas and energy projects and transactions.

Tracey acts for both Australian and international energy companies, project developers, financial sponsors and traders on acquisitions and divestments, joint ventures and project development transactions across the sector, including upstream oil and gas, LNG import and export facilities and gas storage and transportation infrastructure.

She also advises on energy transition, including renewable energy and decarbonisation projects.

Tracey has worked in London, Singapore, the Netherlands and Australia and has advised clients across a wide range of jurisdictions including Europe, South East Asia, Africa, Russia and Australia. 

She is a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators and is admitted to practice in Australia, England, Wales and Scotland.

Santos

Advising on the acquisition of ConocoPhillips' interest in the Darwin LNG Facility and associated offshore petroleum tenements for US$1.265 billion, the sell-down of interests in the Barossa and Caldita fields, and a long-term LNG SPA underpinning the development of the Barossa field with Diamond Gas International Pte Ltd.

Australian Industrial Energy Pty Ltd

Advising on the ongoing development of a floating LNG import terminal in Australia, including advising on the FSRU chartering and LNG regasification and tolling agreements.

CLP

Advising CLP on the development of an LNG Import terminal for Hong Kong, including project structuring, LNG and gas procurement, chartering of an FRSU and related joint venture arrangements.

Woodside

Advising Woodside in relation to infrastructure rights and participation in the Wheatstone and North West Shelf LNG projects, including upstream joint venture agreements, common facilities agreements and LNG lifting and sales agreements.

APA

Acting for APA in the acquisition of the QCLNG Pipeline, including high value associated long-term gas transportation agreements, and on gas sales, transportation and storage agreements.

IOC

Advising IOC on the acquisition of the Elk and Antelope upstream interests in PNG for LNG project development.

Shell

Acting for Shell in the development and sell down of equity interests in the Prelude Floating LNG Project.
