Advised the private sector proponents of the original CopperString 1.0 and CopperString 2.0 Projects on all aspects of project development.
This included tenure, approvals, native title, cultural heritage, construction contracts, procurement, early activities all equity funding and project financing (including negotiations with the NAIF), connection and supply arrangements with Powerlink, Ergon Energy and connecting generators and loads, as well as negotiating amendments to the NER to take account of unique revenue and technical issues associated with the Project.
We have continued to advise Powerlink on the CopperString 2032 Project since its transition to Queensland Government ownership
