Advising the project sponsor, Transgrid, on all aspects of a transmission project delivering power from outside Sydney into the CBD, including structuring, environmental matters, land acquisition and access (including agreements with several government-owned corporations and agencies), contracting and operational delivery.
This included devising a new contracting model and providing a full suite of operational and delivery documents while working Transgrid’s superintendent/employer’s representative and the delivery team during the entire delivery period.
The project was recognised at the 2022 NSW Project Management Achievement Awards, winning both the Construction/Engineering category and Project of the Year.
