Costa is an indirect tax specialist with over 20 years of experience advising on stamp duty, GST and land tax implications in relation to complex transactions.
He has extensive experience across domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, privatisations, restructures and property investment and development transactions.
Costa’s core practice focuses on providing strategic structuring advice on large, high-stakes transactions. He supports clients throughout the entire transaction lifecycle, from defining the transaction perimeter to sale structuring, documentation and negotiation, briefing C-Suite executives and boards, and managing revenue authority negotiations and dispute resolution.
He is a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and a Chartered Tax Advisor.
