Max advises government and private sector clients across all aspects of planning and environmental law. His work with government has included matters relating to compulsory acquisition, compliance with environmental and transport (road and rail) laws and negotiating agreements with private landowners.
Max has acted for several corporate clients in appeals and judicial review proceedings at the Land and Environment Court of NSW. He has also advised major corporate clients on large, mixed-use (such as over-station) developments – including in relation to planning pathways, complex planning agreements and environmental and planning risks associated with the acquisition of development sites.
Max is a member of the Property Council of Australia and the Environment and Planning Law Association NSW.
