Harbourside

Transgrid

Advising the project sponsor, Transgrid, on all aspects of a transmission project delivering power from outside Sydney into the CBD, including structuring, environmental matters, land acquisition and access (including agreements with several government-owned corporations and agencies), contracting and operational delivery.

Transgrid

Advising Transgrid on the construction and long-term access agreements for the Snowy 2.0 Pumped Hydro project. This included the construction, commissioning of, and services to be delivered by, two new double-circuit transmission lines to connect Snowy 2.0 to Transgrid’s transmission network. Snowy 2.0 is Australia’s largest renewable energy project (for an extra 2000 MW of firm capacity) and represents an expansion to the existing Snowy Hydro Scheme.

Transgrid

Advising Transgrid on all aspects of its VNI West Project, which involves the construction of a nation-building 500 kV double circuit overhead transmission line connecting the New South Wales and Victorian electricity grids, including the wind and solar-rich regions of the Murray River REZ and the Western Victorian REZ. This includes all land access, acquisition and compensation negotiations and comprehensive advice on environmental impact assessment, planning approval, biodiversity offsets and securing Commonwealth environmental approval.

ACEREZ

Advised ACEREZ (a consortium of Acciona, Cobra and Endeavour Energy across the trifecta of sponsor, D&C and M&L roles) on its successful bid to develop the transmission network infrastructure for the Central West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ).
