Australia’s leading independent law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, has today announced that Eloise Morgan has joined Corrs as a Competition partner, based in Sydney.
Eloise has experience advising clients on a range of competition law matters, including merger control, regulatory investigations and general competition and consumer law compliance. She has been involved in several high-profile merger cases before the UK and EU competition authorities and has also advised on a number of cartel investigations.
Eloise has been based in London since 2019 and joins Corrs from Slaughter and May.
Commenting on the appointment, Corrs Senior Partner and CEO Gavin MacLaren said: “Eloise’s domestic and international experience position her well to help our clients navigate increased regulatory scrutiny and achieve their strategic objectives. In particular, her recent experience of the mandatory merger regimes in Europe will be valuable, given the new merger regime in Australia. We are delighted to welcome Eloise to the partnership.”
