Australia's leading independent law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, has today announced that project development, energy and construction specialist Bree Miechel has joined the firm as a partner, based in Sydney.
Bree is a highly regarded projects lawyer with extensive experience advising sponsors, procuring authorities, lenders, contractors, vendors and investors on the commercial contracting aspects of major energy and infrastructure projects.
Commenting on the appointment, Corrs Senior Partner and CEO Gavin MacLaren said: "Bree has significant experience working on energy transition and renewable matters in Australia and across the region. We are delighted to welcome Bree to the partnership."
Bree joins Corrs from Ashurst, where she had been a partner since 2020.
