Prominent indirect tax specialist Costa Koutsis has joined Corrs as a partner, based in Sydney.
Costa is one of Australia’s foremost indirect tax specialists, with over 20 years of experience advising on stamp duty, GST and land tax in relation to complex transactions.
Costa has experience in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, privatisations, restructures and property investment and development transactions, and joined Corrs from Ashurst where he was the Global Co-Head of Ashurst’s Tax Practice.
Commenting on the appointment, Corrs Senior Partner and CEO Gavin MacLaren said: “Costa is very well regarded for his technical ability, strong relationships and extensive experience.
