Australia’s leading independent law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, has today announced the appointment of two new partners to its Papua New Guinea practice.

Emmanuel Asigau joins Corrs from a Port Moresby-based firm, while Ryan Warokra is being promoted into the partnership from Corrs’ PNG practice.

Emmanuel has practised as a litigation and commercial lawyer in Papua New Guinea for over 17 years. He regularly appears in Papua New Guinea’s National and Supreme Court in a wide range of matters involving complex commercial, administrative and Constitutional law issues. Emmanuel also advises clients on their commercial transactions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

Ryan Warokra

Ryan has been with Corrs since the firm launched its Papua New Guinea offering in 2017. He advises on company law, contracts, property, mining and oil and gas law.
